Maryland Lady Crab Cakes
Ingredients

lb. Maryland crabmeat |
1 |
cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs |
1 |
large egg or 2 small eggs |
1/4 |
cup Hellmann's mayonnaise |
1/2 |
tsp. salt |
1/4 |
tsp. pepper |
1 |
tsp. Worcestershire sauce |
1 |
tsp. dry mustard |

margarine, butter or oil for frying |
In a bowl, mix egg, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce and mustard.
Add about 1/4 cup bread crumbs.
Add crabmeat and mix.
Add remainder of bread crumbs and mix.
Cook cakes in fry pan, in just enough fat to prevent sticking, until browned, about 5 minutes on each side.
NOTE: If desired, crab cakes may be deep fried at 350 degrees, for 2 to 3 minutes, or until browned.
