Baked Lasagna with Minced Meat

Mince Meat
2 small diced onions
1 pound of ground mince meat (beef)
2 tbs. cooking oil
3-4 green chilies

Tomato Sauce
1/2 cup tomato puree
1 tsp. tobasco sauce
Black pepper and salt to taste

Cheese Sauce
1/2 litre milk
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
6 tbs. flour
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
12 strips of Lasagna boiled

Cook Lasagna according to package, drain well and set aside.

Prepare mince meat by sautéing it with the chopped onions for 5-7 minutes in the oil.

Add seasoning. When meat is properly cooked, set it aside.

Prepare white sauce by heating butter with flour, add milk and stir it until it thickens. Add ground nutmeg and half of the cheddar cheese.

For the tomato sauce, add tobasco to the tomato puree, add black pepper, red chili powder and salt. When prepared, keep it on low flame until the sauce thickens.

Take a deep rectangular shaped casserole, and butter the base and sides with oil.

Put 4 strips of pasta on the bottom. Top it with mince meat, tomato sauce and the cheese sauce and sprinkle a little black pepper. Repeat this procedure three times. On the last layer, sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese.

Bake the casserole for 20-25 minutes at 250 C in the oven, or in microwave oven according to the timings specified for lasagnas.
